My Digital Learning Journey
I learned digital scrapbooking originally through Linda Sattgast's fantastic QwickLearn Classes.
But another big part of my growth came from participating in Layout Challenges at DigitalScrpbook.com. These challenges at first seemed daunting, yet they've become vital stepping stones in my creative journey.

My Heart Mask Layout Adventure
Below is recent page I created from the Photo Mask Layout Challenge—step by step. Visit the forum to get the mask free.

Draft One
Since this was a heart-shaped mask I decided to clip a photo of my husband and me to the mask. I began with Faith and Florals Kit becsue I love the papers but the colors were too bland for this photo —the background didn't harmonize, making my page feel off. Like many first attempts, it became a rough draft!
Draft Two
Determined, I switched to the "With All Your Heart" kit. The colors better matched my photo, providing contrast and depth. I switched for clipping the photo to the mask to putting the mask behind the photo. This change brought excitement and renewed direction.
Final Version
Through multiple revisions and adjustments, I finally reached a version that felt right. I used the mask begin the frame and made it smaller. Each iteration taught me something valuable, guiding me toward a result I cherished.
Embrace the Journey
Creativity, much like spiritual growth, is a journey where the process is just as important as the final outcome. Every challenge faced with courage leads to greater understanding and deeper faith.
