Facebook has been shadow banning numerous users, including myself. Shadow banning refers to the secretive blocking or restricting of a user's online content without notification.
This practice has become notorious on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, particularly for users who share content featuring the American flag, Bible, negative post on democrats, or any conservative values.
Since Facebook doesn't notify you of a shadow ban, it's essential to be aware of the subtle signs that may indicate you're being restricted. Here are the telltale signs to look out for:
-
Decreased Engagement: A significant drop in reactions, comments, and overall interactions may signal a shadow ban. If your posts, which previously garnered hundreds of interactions, now struggle to get even a fraction of that, it's worth investigating further. This is how I knew, my comments went from 30 each pst to zero.
-
Limited Visibility: To detect a shadow ban, check if your posts appear on your friends' feeds. If your posts are hidden from others and can only be seen on your profile, it's likely that you've been shadow banned.
-
Other Signs:
-
Reduced reach and impressions
-
Fewer likes, shares, and comments on your posts
-
Your posts not appearing in Facebook search results
-
Your account being suspended or restricted without a clear reason
September Changes
Reliable sources have informed me that Facebook plans to ramp up its censorship and suspension of conservative accounts in September, preparing for the November election. This raises concerns about freedom of speech and political bias.
Kamala Harris, LGBTQ+, and "Woke" posts will be promoted, while conservative posts will be hidden. Even minor infractions like spelling errors may result in suspension.
Example: Facebook admitted shadow-banned the historic photo of former President Donald Trump pumping his fist following the attempt on his life at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13th.
Stay Informed and Vigilant
Do not assume the my post will be in your feed. I recommend bookmarking the Bible Journal Facebook Group and visiting daily, as relying solely on your feed may result in missing important updates due to this shadow banning.
Let's stay aware of these practices and promote transparency and accountability on social media platforms.
