What Would Jesus Do
on Social Media
Spreading Love and Compassion in the Digital Age
This class includes 30 Bible study lessons with Bible journal ideas. In each lesson we will examine Bible passages to see how Jesus would respond on social media. After all, it is interacting with people–it is real-life–people's feelings can be hurt. In some networks, we might be the only Christian a person ever interacts with. Our words can encourage or discourage others.
Social media has become part of our daily lives. These networks have opened new possibilities for devising and learning new information, sharing ideas and connecting with others. This has changed the way people interact and carry on with their everyday lives. We can join groups of other like-minded people.
Some warn Christians to stay away from social media. I don't agree. To turn away completely would be similar to telling people not to use a phone or television when they became available. New things are not evil. Social media, TV, and phone are all tools like a hammer is a tool. It can be used to help build a house or to commit murder.
With new possibilities come new potential problems. It is easy to get too involved with social media and neglect family responsibilities. It seems easier to get into arguments to say the wrong thing because you are not conversing fact to face. Some Christians are sweet and kind at church, but once they tap that Facebook app they transform into angry political activists.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Hi, I'm Robin Sampson.
I have taught Bible studies for 30 years and now I design Bible Journal kits to use with the studies.
I teach ladies seeking a closer relationship with God how to study His Word and Bible journal while creating beautiful pages using paper crafting and artsy digital methods.
Bible journaling feeds my soul - and I'm excited for it to do the same for you!
Over 20 years ago I found a structured strategy to unlock the treasures of God's Word to see it as one unified story. We journal through the entire Bible in one year using the 12 Bible Eras method studying each era for one month.

Our Bible Classes celebrates the uniqueness of each spiritual journey. That's why we offer the class without the art kit, ensuring everyone can participate in a way that resonates with them.
While artful Bible journaling can be a transformative practice, it's not mandatory. Some participants may prefer quiet contemplation, group discussions, or personal note-taking. We value and support all these approaches.
Joining without the art kit still provides full access to thought-provoking lessons, insightful discussions, and a supportive community. You can journey through the Exodus story in a way that feels most authentic to you, whether through artistic expression or other forms of reflection.
Our class fosters a deeper connection with God's Word and each other. Whether you express your insights through colors and designs or written words in a notebook, your unique perspective contributes to our shared spiritual experience.
