25 Lessons from the Heart of a Woman Who's Been There
Have you ever found yourself coming undone in the heat of the moment—your voice raised, your heart racing, and words spilling out you wish you could take back? Maybe you've replayed that scene a hundred times, wondering why peace always seems just out of reach.
You're not alone.
And you're not broken.
But you are being invited to heal.
I wrote Inner Peace through tears. Every word was born from my own ashes—from pain I lived through and pain I thought I’d never recover from. This is not a book written from the mountaintop of victory. It was written from the trenches. From the counseling room. From the bedside of sleepless nights. From the quiet cries whispered through locked doors. From years of praying, breaking, and slowly rising again.
This 25-lesson journey is more than a Bible study. It's a lifeline.
A hand reaching out to women who are weary of wearing the mask.
A safe place to be honest—with yourself, with God, and with the stories that shaped you.
Why I Wrote This Study
I’ve lived a life many don’t talk about—surviving three marriages to narcissists, raising children through trauma, carrying the crushing weight of regret and shame. I smiled in church, taught Bible studies, homeschooled my children—and still carried a storm inside I didn’t know how to calm.
Through it all, I longed for peace. Not the temporary peace of quiet mornings or warm baths (though those are blessings). I wanted lasting peace—the kind that holds you steady when the world shakes. The kind Jesus promised.
I searched for it. I studied. I prayed. And slowly, through His Word, the Lord began to unravel the lies I believed about myself and about Him. He showed me that anger is often a mask for deeper wounds. That guilt is a heavy chain not meant to be worn. That shame was never mine to carry. And that peace doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from surrender.
This study is the fruit of that journey.

You’ll meet women of Scripture like Hannah, who wept bitterly before the Lord; Martha, whose striving masked her longing for connection; and even Jesus, who felt anger—and yet never sinned. Their stories are our stories. Their pain mirrors our own. Their healing gives us hope.
A Message from My Heart to Yours
If you’re tired of trying to hold it all together…
If you’ve been hurt, used, dismissed, or overlooked…
If you've tried forgiveness, but the pain still lingers…
If you’ve made mistakes you can’t seem to forgive yourself for…
You are exactly who this study was written for.
My prayer is that each page will feel like a conversation with a trusted friend—someone who understands your past and believes in your future. Someone who’s walked through fire and still believes in the goodness of God.
You don’t have to carry that weight anymore. You don’t have to strive to be enough.
God’s peace is not just possible—it’s promised.
Let’s begin the journey to inner peace together—one honest step at a time.
